SID Logging System is a system to collect, store and analyze vehicle data. The collecting software runs on a computer in the vehicle. This software collect data from the Chassis CAN-bus and/or from a body control system on the vehicle. We also log GPS data. All data is collected every second and stored on the computer hard disc. Today we collect about 15 - 20 different data, both digital and analogue values.

In the computer there is a GPRS modem that we use to send the data to our server. The data is sent to the server one time per hour.

We use a software on an office PC to analyze this data. We download the data from server to PC. Then you analyze data to see what have happened for example in an accident. As we collect the GPS each second you can look at a map and see where the vehicle has been.
